The United Arab Emirates has reassured residents that the country’s pharmaceutical reserves remain stable and fully sufficient despite rising regional tensions involving Iran.
The announcement came from the Emirates Drug Establishment (EDE), the federal authority responsible for regulating medicines and pharmaceutical supply chains in the country. Officials emphasized that the UAE maintains a strong strategic reserve of medicines and medical supplies capable of supporting the needs of citizens, residents and visitors even during periods of geopolitical uncertainty.
According to Saeed bin Mubarak Al Hajeri, Minister of State and Chairman of the Emirates Drug Establishment, the UAE’s pharmaceutical sector is operating with a high level of stability and preparedness.

According to Dr Al Kaabi, pharmaceutical supply chains across the UAE are currently operating normally and availability indicators remain stable.
