Abu Dhabi-based Modon Holding PSC reported strong financial results for 2025, generating AED 13.8 billion (approximately $3.75 billion) in revenue and AED 3.9 billion ($1.06 billion) in net profit, according to the company’s official annual disclosure.

The performance marks the Group’s first full year of consolidated results since its formation in February 2024. On a comparable basis excluding prior-year one-off items Modon recorded significant year-on-year growth in both revenue and profitability, reflecting operational momentum and accelerated execution of its long-term strategy.

Institutional Backing Strengthens Growth

In 2025, L’imad Holding Company, fully owned by the Abu Dhabi Government, acquired an 84.75 per cent stake in Modon Holding. The move enhanced the Group’s capital base and governance framework, strengthening its institutional positioning and enabling faster delivery across its development pipeline.

Company statements indicate that the enhanced ownership structure has supported strategic expansion and reinforced financial sustainability.

Real Estate Drives Record Sales

Real estate emerged as the Group’s primary growth engine, delivering record annual sales of AED 36.3 billion. The performance was supported by a development-led operating model integrating real estate, asset and investment management, hospitality, and tourism-related businesses.

Modon continued to advance key developments in Abu Dhabi, including projects on Reem Island and the Hudayriyat Island masterplan, reporting strong demand and rapid sell-outs across multiple launches. Construction activity also progressed on Ras El Hekma in Egypt, one of the Group’s major international destinations.

At the end of 2025, Modon reported a revenue backlog of AED 46 billion, providing clear forward visibility on earnings and reinforcing its long-term growth trajectory.

Strategic Positioning

The Group stated that its integrated model combining development, recurring asset management income, and operational businesses is designed to create sustainable urban destinations while diversifying income streams beyond traditional property sales.

The 2025 results underscore Abu Dhabi’s continued momentum in large-scale master developments, supported by sovereign backing and investor demand across residential, hospitality, and destination assets.
